the "Horsehoe Scramble" is part of the NJBA Cross Cup and is hosted by the watchung wheelmen. Brendan Conk and I will do the men's B at noon. Stacey "Barbarella" will be racing at 2pm.
if you have a MTB or cross bike and been "cross curious", this is a good one to try out.

Hey Joe,
How'd it go for you guys?
Stacey won the women's B field at Warren after three crashes, one in which she broke her thumb. She didn't find out until AFTER she won SUNDAY's women's B race at Hidden Valley!
Now is that hard-core or what?? I'm waiting for Earl to give her that 'atta girl' backslap.
I raced Hidden Valley also. Accomplishment number 1- finishing the race, not getting lapped and not finishing last! It was lots of fun!

I tried to treat this as a "rest weekend" by just doing the men's B for the local Horeshoe race, but I got my ass kicked! the winner Alejandro Guzman said he is a Cat 1 road racer - sandbagger!
glad to hear you did well Sunday, sorry I couldn't make it. HUGE double header next weekend in Mercer (USGP of CX):

HI Joe,
Do you know anything about the Mercer course? Was it run last year?
Thanks,
Cyndi
