Elaine and I have both joined "Guerrilla Fitness, Crossfit Montclair."
It is a phenomenal, no nonsense gym which has helped my cycling and recovery tremendously. In fact, after my triathlon, I was not at all sore -- felt like I hadn't even done a race. It has been great for hills, sprints and even endurance. It is like no other gym you have seen. Workouts out are short (5 - 30 minutes) at incredibly high intensity. They combine weights, plyo, running, gymnastics, etc.
For anyone who is looking for cross-training, you should check it out. It is on Elm Street just off of Bloomfield (south side).
