These are rules the the NJBA posted on their forum site and they apply here too:
The administrators and moderators of these boards reserve the right to edit inappropriate posts or to ban members for more serious violations. Please keep posts fair to everybody involved, keep them clean, and keep any disagreements respectful.
Some other ground rules:
1) Do not post derogatory racial, religious, or sexual comments. This includes your username, signature line, and title.
2) Do not post pictures or links to images which contain pornography, nudity, animal cruelty, racism, or sexism.
3) Do not post comments or links in support of illegal or immoral activities.
4) Do not post someone else's personal contact information (phone numbers, addresses, or e-mail addresses.)
5) Do not attack or insult a person in an effort to elicit a negative response. You have a right to disagree, but please do so in a respectful manner.
6) Do not post topics or discussions with the desire to do the site or the cycling community harm.
7) Do not post repeat topics with similar or slightly varying titles. Spamming the community in this manner is not amusing and results in problems for users and management.
 Neither businesses nor individuals are allowed to advertise or sell products or services in the general forums. Businesses or individuals interested in selling or trading equipment should use the appropriate section of the Classified Ads.
9) Fraudulent practices or attempts to defraud another person or group will be dealt with very seriously.
